P3 Flippers: Refined For Exceptional Reliability, Tuned For Performance

The lower flippers are your primary interface to gameplay and therefore the most important part of any pinball machine. We’ve spent more than 10 years improving the P3‘s flippers to provide exceptional functionality and reliability. We’ve also worked with partners to give you options to customize the feel and functionality of the flipper buttons so you can set them up the way that works best for you.

If you’ve had less than ideal experiences with older P3 flippers, we’d love for you to give them another shot. We’ve listened to all of your feedback and worked hard to address your concerns. This page will help you upgrade your P3 flippers with our latest parts, and we hope you’ll share it with your friends and local operators so they can to do the same. The results are outstanding!

Performance and Reliability

The P3‘s flippers have a number of features that make them incredibly reliable:
  • Low mass aluminum flipper bats
  • High-quality welded shafts
  • High tensile-strength injection-molded flipper rods
  • Custom-designed zinc-plated steel plungers that resist mushrooming
  • Industry-standard 11630-style coils, sleeves, and coil stops
  • Fixed-alignment design – the parts install at the correct alignment, no tweaking required
They’re also uniquely designed for high performance and resistance to fatigue
  • Optical end-of-stroke switches – these ensure each flip has full strength throughout the bat’s travel
  • Software-configurable reflip strength – tunable to deliver the perfect knockdown recovery for each P3 Playfield Module
  • Non-ferrous plunger rest plates – these ensure the flipper travel has little resistance from start to finish
