Row Mania

$125.00

Inspired by classic electromechanical pinball games of the 1970s, Row Mania allows you to build up, multiply, and collect your bonus while listening to a selection of sea shanties.

Row Mania was created by Neil Wilson, and 100% of his proceeds from the game will be donated to the Austin Pinball Collective or another pinball-related charitable organization.

This game requires the Drained P3 playfield module (sold separately).

A download link will appear in your Multimorphic software download page after your purchase is processed. It will also be available for download/install in System Manager if your P³ is connected to your WiFi network.

Row Mania is a game for the Drained playfield module in the style of classic electromechanical pinball games, including the 1975 Williams Electronics Games Satin Doll and Pat Hand. It’s themed around vampires engaged in a rowing race, although that primarily extends to the artwork and sea shanty background music. As with most EM-style machines, the gameplay is fairly simple: your primary goal is to build up and collect your bonus, although there are also other ways to earn points in the game.

Game Features
  • Choose from one of five difficulty levels, which control whether you can collect your bonus upon draining and/or in the gobble hole, and whether the gobble hole ends your ball or re-launches it into play.
  • Hit the GARLIC and STAKES targets to build up your bonus. Completing all of the GARLIC and STAKES targets also boosts their value for significant points.
  • Complete all the side targets for awards, including:
    • 2X bonus
    • 3X bonus
    • Light the gobble hole
    • Extra ball
    • Points
  • Hit the lower standup targets, the Holy Water standup targets, and the MIRROR drop targets for additional points. A roving lower standup target may be boosted for a higher value.
  • When appropriate, shoot into the gobble hole to collect your bonus . Depending on the difficulty level and the state of the game, it may end your ball or launch it back into play. But shooting the gobble hole when it’s not ready will end your ball without collecting bonus.
Designed and developed by Neil Wilson. Primary artwork created by Krystal Karim. Very special thanks to Nick Baldridge of For Amusement Only Games for creating the Drained playfield and for testing and providing feedback for Row Mania.
